1295 City of Pilsen, the beginnings of brewing.
1307 First mention of the existence of an actual brewery with malt house. 1839 Burghers in Pilsen decide establishing Burghers' Brewery. 9.15 1839 - autumn 1840 Construction of the Burgess' Brewery, forerunner of today's brewery. 5th October 1842 First brew of Bavarian type, bottom-fermented beer called pale lager. First Third 1859 registering the word mark "Pilsner Bier" at the Chamber of Commerce and Trade in Pilsen. Second half of the 19th century Brewery expands in Europe, the first shipment of beer from Pilsen to America. 1869 The first joint-stock brewery, now known as Premier. 1898 Created a new trademark Urquell - Urquell. National administration took over management of the Burgess Brewery (then called Urquell) and PAP (Gambrinus). 13th 9th 1946 Nationalization of both breweries and creation of a national company Pilsner breweries. First 6th 1964 Formation of West brewery company based in London. Creating a national company Pilsner Urquell with regard to ownership of trademarks and contact with customers abroad.
